Stuff to Do

Here are the projects that need to get done for the Temple to happen. Following each listing are the names of the people who have volunteered so far. Our plan: most projects should take no longer than two weeks. This will help us manage the project and make it all very possible. It is with all our skills and contributions that the Phoenix Temple will rise!

The Dome:

1. Measure and cut plastic panels of dome—Bobbie x

2. Install grommets for plastic panels—Bobbie

3. Paint illluminated pattern on each piece—Bobbie

4. Additional bars cut for ‘skirt’ of dome—Kurt and Travis

5. Paint Entrance, continuing stained glass motif--Bobbie

6. Paint all bars of dome gold and re-color code each piece—Tule and Vicke

7. Create flags for perimeter of Temple—Deena

8. Create windmill for top of Temple—Marsha and Bob

9. Create lighting for altar and outside perimeter—Paul H. x

The Temple Interior:

10. Build central altar platform for egg—Bob, kurt and Phil

11. Create substructure of egg—Bobbie x

12. Surface design of egg—Bobbie, Venee

13. Locate assorted Phoenix images—Larry x

14. Frame Phoenix images for interior and altar—Bobbie

15. Sew pillow coverings for Temple pillows—Jean x, Bobbie, Justine x, Clare

16. Create altar display around egg—Venee

17. Create rituals appropriate for Phoenix Temple—Venee x

18. Buy writing material for insertion in egg x

19. Determine aroma installation x

The Phoenix:

20. Design Phoenix—Bobbie x

21. Create sub-structure of Phoenix x

22. Assemble Phoenix: cutting x, grinding, x welding x, bolting, etc.—Bobbie, Kurt, John, Trang, Phil, Paul, Paul, Larry, Peter

23. Design and install flame nozzles—Kurt, Paul, Paul, John and Phil

24. Research and develop colored fire—Phil x

25. Create nest/fire bath below Phoenix—Larry x

26. Create five-note musical piece for Phoenix to sing—Paul x
